Hi i'm trying to find the name of a film that possibly has something to do with time travel!?

all i can remember about the film is that it has a machine that spins really fast and transports a man to a beach were he speaks to someone (this maybe another dimension/ inside his mind/ space). At the end of the film, i think the man fell through the middle of the machine, hit the floor and died.

it sounds like maybe you have the two movies mixed up...both have a machine that spins really fast...in Contact Jodie Foster ends up in space and goes to a "beach" and sees her dad, but she didn't die...she fell through and survived. The Time Machine has a guy in it, but he travels back and fourth through time...doesn't really "fall through the middle of the machine".......so it sounds like you're thinking more about Contact...
