DAN means 'defeat autism now.'  It is just one of many approaches which can be used to tackle autism.  My preferred approach is 'neuro-cognitive therapy,' which is provided by an organisation called 'Snowdrop.'  The guy who runs the programme is a parent himself and has amassed massive qualifications in the field.
