  1. go to subway try a veggie foot long thar grat and the foot longs are only five dollars even with chips and drink

  2. Salad

  3. If you live in an ethnically diverse city, some cheap and delicious places to eat are

    1)  Middle eastern donair shops or bakeries.  Bakeries are cheaper in my experience.  I can get a huge falafel sandwich for $3.50 - $5.00 or a zatar (spicy pita thing full of veggies) for about $2.

    2)  Vietnamese submarine sandwich shops (called Ban My).  In the city I used to live in I could get a vegetarian version of their sandwiches for $1.50 - no kidding.  They might not offer veg sandwich on the menu, but the regular sandwiches (with meat, around $3.50) have lots of veggies on them.  I just ask for one without meat and they always sold them to me really cheap.

There are probably other cheap and delicious options if you try out foods from another culture.

If you live in a small town or a place without much ethnic diversity, I'd try a bakery.  They usually have something like spanikopita or a mini cheesy pizza type thing for a couple dollars.

  4. Buy fruit, or better yet, go to mcdonalds for their dollar menu.

  5. 5 Dollar 5 Dollar Footlong if your close to subway you should go there

Or a Family Dollar cheap stuff to drink

  6. buy candies,juices,and fruits.

  7. i agree with KMS taco bell is so good i love thier nachos they put lots f stuff on it. the burritos and the pizzas and of course the tacos

    its really good1!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Avoid fast food...ugh. YUCK! But, here is a grand idea. Go to a Chinese food restaurant and ask for white rice. Sometimes, they give it to you for free. Sometimes a buck. Whatever. Grab soy sauce packets on your way out.

Then, hit the grocery for a few veggies...couple bucks worth.

Go home. Cook it up in a pan. Healthy. Filling. Yummy. And CHEAP.

  9. Grab a Soy Joy bar, they are delicious!!

  10. I will sell you a handful of delicious ham for  $5

  11. Go to a Grocery store that has a salad bar....pig out!!  HUGS!!

  12. Taco Bell has both vegan and vegetarian options.  This is where I go if I'm in a situation where I have to do the fast food thing.  The beans and rice are both vegan so you can get a taco or burrito w/ beans, rice, lettuce, guacamole, and pico de gallo.  There are a few different combinations that you can come up with.  The cinnamon twists are a guilty pleasure of mine and they're vegan as well.  If you're vegetarian then the choices with cheese are options too.  You can even get the Mexican pizza with no beef.  Taco Bell can be either healthy or unhealthy.  It's really your choice.  There are many more filling options here than at practically any other fast food place.

    Plus, it's cheap!

Oh, the sour cream has gelatin in it so stay away from that.

  13. fruit

    chips

    mcdonads

    icecream

  14. Meat.

  18. Here's a song from the 1940s:

Little man walked up and down,

To find an eatin' place in town.

He looked the menu thru and thru,

To see what fifteen cents might do.

    CHORUS:

    One meat ball,

    One meat ball,

    One meat ball,

All he could get was one meat ball.

He told that waiter near at hand,

The simple dinner he had planned.

The guests were startled one and all,

To hear that waiter loudly call.

    Repeat CHORUS

Little man felt so ill at ease,

He said: "Some bread Sir, if you please."

The waiter hollered down the hall:

You get no bread with your one meat ball.

Little man felt so very bad,

One meat ball is all he had.

And in his dreams he can still hear that call

You get no bread with your one meat ball.

Seriously, in terms of the most nutrition for the lowest price, chicken is your best bet, especially if it's for sale at underr $1/lb, which happens pretty often.
