    It says child benefit will not be paid if

    - your child is in care or secure accommodation

    - your right to enter or reside in the UK is on condition you do not have recourse to public funds

    - you do not have the right to reside in the UK under either UK or EU law

    You could also investigate if you're entitled to tax credits if either you or your partner is working:

  2. just because your daughter was born in the UK doesn't mean she has citizenship rights so would not necessarily get any benefits
