  1. Yeah I saw the q. hjas tried to help by asking you to elaborate and you went all defensive and couldn't be bothered answering them and asked the same question again today.

Dude. She has the top contributor sticker for a reason.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. You ain't seen rude yet.

  2. You need to figure out exactly what it is you want - for him to be able to simply visit on a non-immigrant, B1/B2 visa, or to petition for him to come to the US as an immigrant.

  3. Lots of nice efforts to help, but according to last night's question this lady wants her boyfriend to visit her in England. English law isn't my area of expertice either, but Hannah, you need to specify what country you're talking about if you want helpful answers.

  4. The complete source for information pertinent to Turkey is available on the US Consulate in Istanbul's website.

  5. He will need to go to one of the 3 American Consulates in Turkey to apply for a visa to visit the U.S.  The more information that he has regarding his visit, the more likely he is to get the visa. He will need to show that he has a place to stay (your place) and funds to cover his travel and living expenses. He will probably also be expected to show that he has good reason to return to Turkey after the visit (like a good job, his own business, family ties, etc.)

He will also have to pay an application fee for the visa - which is around $100 - and which the embassy will keep whether or not he gets the visa. They do this to discourage people from applying who really have no valid reason to visit but just want to get into the country and probably not return.

So, he is right, you need to send a letter to him stating that your family will be responsible for him during his visit, both legally and financially.

You can find more information here:

OK, I did this long answer assuming that you were American, and now I see from your other post that you are in England.

So, you need to search for the Brititsh Embassy in Turkey website and see what you can find there.....
