Hi i found an older mongoose chamelone bmx in a garbage pile?

i was wondering if the bike had any potential or value or should i put back in the trash the bike works it just neds tubes ps it was not made in china it was made in taiwan

ok first off, everyone is gonna tell you that mongoose sucks!!!  but that is not exactly true!    WALMART MONGOOSE SUCKS!!!!  NOT PRE- WALMART MONGOOSE!!!!!!!

if its from taiwan, thats a good sign!  mongoose bikes were great bikes back in the mid 90's and you could hardly find one, you had to order them from catalogs.   but then walmart ruined the mongoose name.

if its a non walmart bike, it is most likely a decent bike, nothing special or anything to brag about, but definitly better then any thing you can buy at a department store.  it would be a good practice bike.
