  1. It depends, but just changing the muffler isn't gonna bring a big difference in power besides the sound.

If your looking for any noticeable increase in power your gonna have to change more than just the muffler and it's gonna take some $$$.

  2. Get a new exhaust system, and a short ram/cold air intake. That'll give you a little more kick.

  3. You probably gained about 10-15 HP, not really noticeable in acceleration, but throttle response should be a little crisper. The thing about bolt-on's is, by themselves they don't really make much difference, but when you add a bunch of them together, they add up. The easiest mod you can do that will show a big difference in acceleration is rear gears. I would go to a set of 3.73:1's. You will also have to get your speedometer recalibrated when you do it, but gears is definitely the biggest "bang" for your buck.

  4. honestly i have a 93 z28 and i did the same thing and added a highflow cat.... and only added 8 horse.... and 5 torgue....

im doing the heads this weak tho so thats where the big gainer should be around 30 horse...... just adding a muffler doesnt really do anything
