  1. If you've received comments & messages just fine before and suddenly you're not, then this sounds like a recent glitch that many people are experiencing, where the mailbox and/or Top Page comment box is busted except for specific periods of the day.

This is not a case where you should keep trying fruitlessly to delete messages, add/view comments or send invitations. It has nothing to do with your computer system either. You can't fix this problem, but you MAY be able to work around it.

You will see old messages and comments any other time of the day, no matter what you do because at those other times the mailbox or Top Page comment box is malfunctioning. You can try deleting comments/messages and it may appear successful, but it will likely return the next day at certain times.

You will just have to view the comment box and mailbox only at the specific times for when they are working properly. In other words, you will have to visit your 360 at various times of the day to see when the mailbox & top page comment box are working. Figure this out and then view your comments & messages at that time of the day. Although, you can send messages or post comments (on your own page) at anytime; but you can't VIEW them until the specific time(s) of the day that you've figured out.

With all that said, there's no guarantee that your mailbox or Top Page comments will work at any point in the day. But at least you can check it out, just in case. For me, it works between 4am and 10am CST.

FYI: Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in early 2008. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet, so it could happen any time between January and end of March 2008. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services - Y!Mash, Y!360, and the regular Members profile - into one. It likely will not be called 360 anymore, so yes, it's closing in a sense. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details. The 360 team blog is also accessible via the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space.

However, they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about those.

  2. I don't know anyone who isn't having major problems with their 360's... because..

Yahoo is in the process of launching a new platform here on this site.

The 360 will no longer be called the 360 after this.. we will have a new blogger and other things which yahoo has not announced yet.. Until that then they have stopped doing maintenance on the 360 and have pulled a lot of the server from it to give it to the new platform,  it is extremely difficult to not give up on this site lately.. they set a date for the change over to take place through a letter to a friend of mine who published it in a blog to us.. but  it has passed us by already.. .

The 360 product blog has a blog posted by Matt Warburton .. the new head of Yahoo.. that explains most of the questions you might have.. here is the link to that blog

I hope they get it together soon!

  3. 360 has a lot of problems right now and they're no longer fixing bugs, so you may not ever get this working correctly.
