Hi i have a question about installing sims 2, i get an error

my friend has sims 2 and he made mdf files and gave them to me, which is not illegal cuz he didn't sell them to me. I used alcohol to burn these 4 mdf files onto 4 cds. The installation works until i insert cd 3... then it tells me that there's an error copying tsdata/res/sound/voice 4.package... although i know it's there becuz i saw it when i looked in the compressed file.

any help pleez? :D

There is the game Sims 2 and then Sims 2: ....... There are lots of offtakes on Sims 2.  You can't install one of the offtakes on Sims 2 without the original Sims 2.
