Hi i have got a question about my 1999 honda 400ex fourwheeler

Question

When i start my fourwheeler a relatively loud clicking sound starts coming from the engine (or at least thats where it sounds like its coming from) and i can hear it when i am riding it is fairly loud i just want to know what it is so i can fix it. If anyone has any idea what it could be i would really appreciate it. Thanks

Sounds to me that your valves may need adjusted. Or possibly, your timing chain is worn out. Good Luck!
