  1. Start out taking your general classes and go to some career fairs and speak with your advisor. You can also look at the classes your college offers and take what interests you. I highly recommend being an English major. I graduated last may and I loved my courses, but now I am unemployed so go figure. But like I said get your general required classes out of the way first.

  2. You are definitely not the only one who has or currently does feel this way. Myself and almost all of my friends currently attend college and I remember us all having stresses of trying to figure out our majors. A few of my friends still have no idea what they want to do... and they have been going to college for about 3 years now.

What you can always do is select the major of Liberal Arts... which basically means general education until you find something you are passionate about. Most schools have a counciling class you can take where they explore different career paths so you can see if any of them strike your interest. Dont stress to much about trying to figure out a definite major... perhaps 'play the field' by choosing different courses and seeing how they interest you.   Remember that what you make your major should be something that you enjoy because you're probably going to be spending a lot of time studying that subject.

Again... don't stress too much, 'play the field', and you'll eventually figure things out.
