Hi...i m frm india , my husband has been offered a job in baharain of 10200 BD per annum?

n his current salary is Rs.11.5k per annum itz a good company though n designation is senior mngr...but iz it a good offer..will we be able to maintain d same standrd of livin. we have a 3 BHk rented appt ovr here n also a car.

plz give some suggestions

Well if you get BD10200 per year, that's like BD850 per month which isn't much considering that living in Bahrain is pretty expensive... Like my school fees are BD700 per month alone, and then the house rent for per month is also BD700. A nice apartment would also be around BD600. And the cost of living is really high, and food prices are increasing...

I don't know, it's up to you. But personally, I'm glad I live here.

So why he selects a Job Offer of 10200 BD per annum. Ultimately it will be equivalant to the slary he drawing presently itself.

but, one thing is sure, the living costs in Bahrain will be quite expensive and hopefully you will be not able to the standards that maintaining there presently, in Bahrain.

If you got a 3 BHK apt & card there, it will be good for you now, and if he gets more better offer select it...

Can you reconfirm your husband's salary in India? Rs.11.5K per annum (or even per month) seems to be very low.
