mmm interesting question.

Let me ask you a few questions first...

The helicopter goes down how?

When you launch the helicopter from your height and it doesn't lift up go down?

or.... when you put it on the ground, the helicopter is pushing onto the ground going down?

Anyways... you may have the blades upside down, the wires could... but i doubt it... be mixed and last but not least, you bought a cheap helicopter that is probably less than $100USD and it does not fly. No helicopter should ever push down when the throttle is up...

Make sure your wires are connected correctly.  If you plugged them up backwards the motor will spin in the opposite direction.  Also, if you have a programmable remote go to the channel and reverse the input.
