  1. If you file bankruptcy, the likelihood is that you will keep your home. Your sister's car has nothing to do with it. If the car is in her name and she lets you use it, that would not figure into any financial business that you have.

Before you consider bankrupty, check out the book (at any bookstore or www.amazon.com) "Financial Peace" by Dave Ramsey. There's a workbook that goes with it, too. He's far, far better than paying money for a debt consolidation service to pay your bills (and rip you off).

He's got a common sense, sure-fire way to get out of debt and change your financial fortunes.

    Check out his website:

  2. Hi,

I used "Credit Solution" to settle my debt and avoid bankruptcy. They managed to reduce my debt up to 58%.It's legitimate. I came across this company on NBC News Special Edition.Check it out here:

  3. Okay - listen.

You are currently in a very vulnerable position, and there are MANY people and organizations out there that will try to take advantage of you. The first thing that you HAVE to do is educate yourself about how to identify legitimate and reliable sources of assistance.

The Federal Trade Commission is the US government department that supervises lending and credit cards, and all of those sorts of things - they publish a whole series of easy-to-read and outstanding booklets that offer GOOD advice - especially about how to avoid the crooks that want to defraud you.

I've attached a few of these booklets below, and I would strongly recommend that you start by reviewing those. I can almost guarantee that you'll get some responses to this question that urge you to visit this or that website where you can find 'valuable' information, or introduce you to Mr. Smith, a God-fearing man who saved me from a plight just like yours."

Guess what? These will be your first introduction to the crooks I was warning you about.

Take a few minutes and look over some of the guides I've attached - you can trust the federal government on this one.

    I've attached:

    "Knee Deep in Debt"

"Before you File for Personal Bankruptcy: Information about Credit Counseling and Debtor Education" and

"Fiscal Fitness: Choosing a Credit Counselor"

Good luck to you! I hope this helped.
