Hi. i need to find a small car with good gas mileage or at least decent?

it needs to be atleast 2000. and about 5000$ i need something pretty decent shape and it cant be a chevy, pontiac, chrysler, buick.

Go for the G.I. Joe Powerwheels.  It is cheap and respectable.

Find a used civic or corolla, other than that, its hard to find a fuel efficient 2k+ car for $5k. And those are the most reliable cars on the road, besides accords and camrys, but i doubt you'll find those for $5k.

If feul economy is your primary factor, better stick with engines that are smaller than 3 liter. Like a 2-2.5 liter 4 cylinder.  Most of the newer cars with small engines still have power to them. Honda civic should be ok.

Well if you looking for a car that is economically fit for any budget. I would have to go with the honda "Fit" it has 1.6 liter engine and gets 33.2 miles per gallon its very nice.
