  1. Pretty much anywhere on the Dorset coast you'll find sandy beaches. You can also find some on the Sussex coast as well - Clymping and Witterings.

It all depends on what you want to do on the beach.

Where your coming in from as to the distance. There are some lovely sandy beaches in Devon and Cornwall.

Sandbanks in Poole is lovely and very upmarket area, so staying there will cost a lot of money.

  2. try the highcliffe area just east of bournemouth - you should be

able to find a b and b - there is miles of sand and you can walk all the way to mudeford - get a ferry and walk all the way

    to bournemouth on the beach.

    google it.

you can get a train or coach from london

sandbanks in poole is really a poseur paradise

at highcliffe ou can light barbies etc

  3. Im from poole.  Poole has a large beach (called sandbanks) and easy access to the purbecks which also has lots of sandy beaches.  There are hotels and guest houses in sandbanks but they are on the expensive side.  Look at the borough of poole website for details.

Bournemouth is also very close by.

  4. Well, really, there is so much along this coastline; Sandbanks, Poole, Bournemouth, Swanage, Studland, Weymouth.....theres plenty to choose from, and all have good beaches.
