I want to get my living room wallpapered , one wall in metalic gold and the other three in burgundy reddish color, would that look right? and if I had to choose another shade other than gold on the one small wall what color do you suggest? would it look nice that way or do i have to have the same wallpaper all the way around, thank you.

  1. I'm with Katie , not sure about the wallpaper. If you were doing metallic gold paint a brown would work as the second color.

  2. tried that with paint it was great.  I dont know about wallpaper

  3. This is called an "accent wall"..we have been doing it for years...

  4. If your putting something on that wall such as a bed or a tv,then it's fine. However, Gold is a tad lighter such as a sandy brown or something a little but darker such as a caramel brown to a dark brown. However if there is nothing on that plain wall that you want to drastically stand out you don't want different color. A new color is only going to stand-out and you don't want draw attention to nothing.Hope I helped.
