There are so many kids out for the summer that's a great idea to earn extra cash.

I would suggest that you create some cool fliers and place them around the neighborhood ( parks, grocery store, college bill boards, churches etc.).

Another thing I would suggest is to create your own website for free at ww.blogspot.com .  Let people know who you are and what skills you have. Also, on the blog you can put your rates and contact information.

Lastly, if you are going to care for children it is important that you know first aid, CPR. Contact your local community center or red cross chapter for info.

You could make up flyers and put them on the front doors of the homes in your neighborhood/subdivision/area. Or just have your parents mention it to a few of the people they know  and word will spread.

I would recommend taking the Red Cross babysitting course before offering your services to families you may not know. They teach you CPR, First Aid and a bunch of other things it is helpful to know when watching children. It will ease many parents' minds.

If you belong to a church that is where you should start.  Why don't you print some fliers on your computer and take them around YOUR OWN neighborhood.  Have a parent or somebody go with you and hand them out....
