Hi im 20 and just recently had a knee reconstruction is it too late for me to go pro ive been riding for 2 yrs

  1. depends how good you are... but yeah you probably are too old.


  2. I think that would depend a lot upon how good you were before youhad the knee reconstruction.  If you were winning top competitions then you could try going back, but if you were just a c grade rider then you should just go back and ride for fun.

  3. Nothing to stop you trying, just like our good friends Auburn & SWT say.

    The only trouble is, your knee might let you down again, and 2 years is a VERY short time to be riding at pro level.

  4. going pro after just 2 years on the bike is virtually unheard of, but i guess it can be done. but whats weird is that i have been riding for well over 25 years and I am not a pro!!!!

    but why not. I had knee reconstruction surgery, and I still race every chance I get, so why cant you?

  5. do you want too? you can still do it you just need to condition your self. i have had two surgeries, and i still race. it all up to you work with a physical therapy trianer. you can do it
