  1. if you have diabetes your peripheral circulation (blood flow to legs) is generally compromised, therefore not enough blood and oxygen can get to the tissue your feet and compromise them.

if this is a sudden onset it may be that you have bumped it (even only slightly), and because of your diabetes it cannot heal correctly because not enough oxygen is getting there.

If this has been there a while i think you are leaving it a little late now and should have seen your doctor a while ago.

I suggest you contact your doctor/endocrinoligst or diabetic educator nurse ASAP

  2. Go to your doctor today. If the office isn't open, go to the ER right away.  With diabetes you are very high risk for neuropathy in your feet, meaning that your blood circulation can't do its job to help you to heal.  A serious infection can happen very quickly.

    Go to your doctor!!!!!

  3. it could be broken? Might have stubbed it in your sleep.

i would go to your doctors.

  4. Call your doctors office now or if your insurance has a 24 hour nurse line call them.
