Hi im going to the bitzaro grande hotel in zante soon. anyone know what it is like?

I stayed at the Bitzaro Grande Hotel (all inclusive) for 1 week in May 2007.

The hotel is in Kalamaki a quiet part of Zante so if you're young it might not really be to your taste. I went with my boyfriend (we're both 21) It suited us because we didnt really want to go clubbing every night. The hotels entertainment is OK, more for middle aged people. Its surrounded by plenty of shops, bars and restaurants and the beach is a 5 / 10 min walk down the road.

If you want to go somewhere more lively in the day or evening id suggest booking a taxi at reception to laganas since it doesnt cost much. I DO NOT SUGGEST WALKING to laganas as its along a busy main road with no path and no lighting at night.

The hotels food is a bit samey so we ate out most nights (Mermaids restaurant is great), if youre all inclusive then theres nothing really to complain about where drinks and snacks are concerned.

If you want to laze around the pool i suggest getting up early as the sun loungers disappear quick.

Overall its a decent hotel pretty much nothing to complain about.
