  5. read the book 'jesus lived in india'.

    I read it about ten years ago so i can't remember everything but basically works on th idea that after the resurrection Jesus travelled down to kashmir and india. (it may also talk about the time of his youth which is left out of the bible as well,I can't really remember).

    apparently there is a town in Kashmir where the people say is his tomb.

    The book calls Kashmir the promised land that the Isrealites were led to and provides hundreds of biblical references to place names and compares to only a handful of correlations with places around palestine.

    It is an extremely well researched and informative text. I highly recommend it.

    In the indian Puranas, the Devi Bhagvat has references to a saint called Isa who says he is from the middle east. Some believe this to be Jesus. He says that the people there do not understand him the way the people of India do. He says he belongs more to india than his own people.

  6. In India, there are those to would say there is historical evidence about the appearance of Jesus. It make sense in this way... the Bible speaks about Jesus travelling in other parts of the world in his early life and the teachings of Jesus were ultimately very similar to that of Buddha, who lived about 400 BC. Look it up.
