  1. First off you're lucky you did not kill anyone.

I would worry more about my "Drinking Problem" than your bosses car.

In the 1950’s renowned nutritionist Roger Williams showed conclusively that alcohol craving represented a nutritional deficiency.

It is clear that most alcoholics can be helped dramatically with large doses of vitamins and mineral supplements, taken with copious amounts of water, fresh fruits and vegetable juices.

In addition you should consider taking

    2 Grams of L-Glutamine, 1 Gram of L-Carnitine.

P.S. I put my cousin on this program after 20 years of drinking and he quit in 2 weeks.

  2. Bye bye licence for at least a year.

  3. you dont say if the house was someone elses or your own. the insurance co have a legal duty to pay for the damage to someone elses property, but they will most likely look to recover the costs from you.

  4. How many times before you were Caught???  do the crime do the time. No Sympathy you know its illegal and not safe.

  5. the insurance will not pay as you where drunk also you will get a ban people like you make me sick you just treat it as a joke.you never stop to think if you was to kill a little child i hope they ban you for life and lock you up for at least 20 years

  6. The insurance will STILL pay, regardless that you were drunk. Your employer has you listed on his business auto policy as an authorized driver. As long as you have permission to drive the vehicle, you are insured.

Now, let's get to the problem. You will probably lose your driver's license, then there goes your job, unless your boss has compassion and assigns you to an on-premises job.

You may even have to go to jail for a few days, when your trial comes up.

I don't want to be harsh, but people who drink and drive deserve the punishment they get, and sometimes even more.

Now let's proceed to the REAL problem; drinking and  driving.

You said that this is the first time you had been CHARGED with DUI, but I bet it's not the first time you have been guilty of doing it. You just got caught this time.

Think about what could have happened. You could have been the guy that was drunk, hit a vehicle head-on, and killed a man, his two children, and his friend in Kentucky a few weeks ago.  The stupid drunk is still alive, and this was not his first offense, and was driving on a revoked license.

You could have been the drunk who was driving on the wrong side of a divided highway a few years ago, and hit a church bus full of children. If I remember right, there were about 20 kids who were killed, when the bus caught fire and they couldn't get out. The drunk driver still lives.

What if someone was in the room that you smashed into, or in the yard when you came barrelling through? You could have killed someone. You could have been killed, but drunks rarely even get seriously hurt in accidents that they cause.

People who drink and drive deserve to have their license permanently revoked, and to spend time in prison.

What punisment do YOU think is appropriate for your situation? (Loss of job, loss of license, maybe jail time, maybe have to repay the insurance company for the damage you have caused, a large fine?)

Is drinking and driving worth it?

  7. "Hi just been charged with drink driving 1st time i smashed intohouse will my insurance pay for any damage?"

Errrrr I hope not - I hope you have to pay for the damage yourself. And if you do lose your job - then tough, I have no sympathy for you.

  8. Were you working at the time of the accident..? You didn't mention that...and if you were on the clock...you will probably loose the job. His Insurance has to pay for the damage, but he may press charges against you for being drunk. His insurance will cover the accident even with drunk driving. I know this because my Cousins Ex Husband just got this charge. He was drunk, driving the wrong way on the freeway, hit  a car headon causing bodily injuries, left the scene of the accident and wobbled home. He was cuffed at home and arrested. The insurance company is paying for all the damages, including his totaled truck. This happened in So.Cal in May.

  9. no way you can get drunk and drive and expect your insurance to pay for your damages.

  10. Nope your screwed. No car, no job, no money and you'll have to pay for the damage yourself..

  11. being drunk will probably void any insurance on the car regardless.

  12. I doubt the insurance will pay out and the chances are you will be banned from driving although I have heard of people getting away with it if they plead that they need a driving license for their job. Even so your insurance premiums will be sky high if you can find a insurance company that will insure you- most will tell you to get lost. My advice would be to give up alcohol and take a long, hard look at your self.

  13. i don't want to lecture you but, what were you thinking, you crashed your bosses car and face a ban, you don't stand much chance of keeping your job and you could have really hurt someone. i don't think insurance will pay up as it was your fault.
