the fish finder won,t read the bottom wether im going or not.the transducer is under the water & pointing down-meening its sitting horizontal...also i tryed another head unit but no differance, also tryed another transducer, also tryed another power cable..battrey has plenty of charge..i didnt try another baterythe finder was working fine untill i came close to a ship called the RANBOW WARRIER ,its a ship that to do with GREEN PEICE.the one that hassels the whalers...

THE FINDERS SCREEN HAS 2 LINES THAT GO THROUGH IT,BUT THE SCREEN IS ALL PIXELATED-DARK...THE SIMULATOR WORKS FINE...

IS THERE SOME ELECTRIC FIELD THAT HAS BEEN ABZORBED INTO MY BOAT THAT WILL INTERFIER WITH MY FINDER,THAT HAS CAME FROM THE SHIP CALLED RAINBOW WARRIER..

PLEASE HELP I HAVE TRYED ALL DIFFERENT TRANSDUCERS -HEAD UNITS & POWER CABLES BUT THAT DIDNT HELP..

  1. It seems that the circuit board in your fishfinder has failed.  The key clue is two lines on the screen.  Because this is an electronic failure, It will be cheaper to simply replace the entire unit, than pay to have it fixed. The electronic field theory isn't  the problem.  As far as I know the Greenpeace ship should n't have any effect on this unit, but they might have a high power depthfinder which overloaded your unit.
