Hi I want to know what is HDMI & what does it do? Does it give me a perfect sharp picture or sound?

  1. yes this is the best way full 1080p for picture as well great audio if your amp/pre-amp,reciever is equiped with hdmi  as well. mine is not i run the deck out of pcm it sounds ok picture is awsome


  2. the purpose of hdmi is for pure signal transmission. this cable allows for signals to be transmitted without the quality robbing suppression of standard cables. your picture quality is going to 10x better with hdmi.

    just make sure to use a high quality cable. dont buy a cheap bargain walmart cable or you will be cheating yourself and your viewers. really for the superbowl.

  3. HDMI stands for High-Definition-Multimedia-Interface It is both picture and sound into one cable. It will give you the best possible picture and sound that your television is capable of putting out.  

         Yes do get one if both you box and T.V. is compatible, no question.  The cables range from $30-$200 depending on the length and the maker.
