Hi need help for buying a birthday gift for dad......?

he's turning 50...and loves playing golf n enjoys working out.....the problem is he's d principal of a very prestigious school , so hardly has anytime for himself.....so he hardly parties.........n i've given him golf accesories earlier......any gift ideas ???!!!!!

take the size of his feet, and buy a good pair of sleepers for him, I ued to buy Bata Chappals for dad's gift. I also gave him a Torch, as he walked in dark sometimes in night, so I gave him that, then I gave him a ghazal casette of Jagjit Singh, You can give him a book also, I also gave Papa good soaps, as he was very fond of soaps, actually you first think what your papa needs to have, and buy that. It can be a small thing but it can be a great thing for him. My papa used to sleep with keeping the torch near his pillow everynight, even when he died the torch was there.

hey anusha!my dad s turning 50 too this sept and he is into education too..and u r sooo right!no time for anythin...no party!!!

if ur dad likes reading, i think a good book wud be the best choice..and trust me dads never show it, but they luv to hav a good time like us kids..so throw him a nice surprise party:)

it depends on the choice of the person for whom you want to buy gift...hmmm, go for nice wrist watch, mobile phone, an ipod, any shirt or t-shirt which you feel gonna look nice on him, and when nothng comes to your mind, buy some specific sweets or food which he likes a lot.

I think you should do something cute and crafty for him - something from the heart.  Make a book about 50 of your greatest memories together, or 50 reasons why you love him.  Maybe add some pictures or something.  I think he will like that way more than anything you could ever buy him.  Even if you think you are not crafty you can do it.
