Hi pls can someone tell me what teams were in the five nations before the six nations started thanks?

Fiji, Japan, Samoa, Tonga and the Junior All Blacks (New Zealand's second XV).

England, France, Ireland, Scotland and Wales were in the Five Nations. It was originally the Home Internationals, involving England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales In 1883. In 1910, France officially entered but were ejected again in 1931. The competition was canceled in between both World Wars. In 1947, France were reinstated and the Five Nations were back again. Italy joined in 2000 to become the Six Nations.
