  2. Unfortunately my friend, Samarendra G, is incorrect. Several UK schools will take TOEFEL scores you will have to contact them to confirm that they will be accepted a possible example of a university in the UK that will take TOEFEL is Leeds Univeristy.

  3. TOEFL is accepted by universities in the US,UK,Australia,NZ and pretty much everywhere. There are a lot of US univs which accept the IELTS as well.

  4. For studies in USA, TOEFL is required from students of non English speaking countries. IELTS is required for UK, Australia etc.

  5. TOEFL is not a country-specific test.  It can be used for any school, university, or institution that accepts it. It doesn't matter which country you are in.  The important thing is to check with the school that you want to attend.

Here's where you can find test locations, dates, and fees:

  6. It depends which countries you're referring to. but here in US, you need at least:

    IELTS

Overall band score of 7.0 (minimum band score of 6.0 in each module)

    TOEFL (Paper-based)

    580

    TOEFL iBT

Total score of 85 (minimum score of 22 in Speaking and minimum score of 21 in Listening, Reading, and Writing)

there is a website if you want to know more:

    http://www.educationusa.state.gov/

If you want to know about the schedule, you can go to this website:

    http://www.ets.org/portal/site/ets/menui...

There are a lot of date selection.

    GOOD LUCK!!
