  1. Nope.  No.  Nada.  Have worn no jewelry, watches or rings for years.  I don't like the way they feel on my skin.  Besides, they were all stolen or lost years ago.  I do have a little bag with a few "found" items, but I'd never wear them or sell them.

  2. I wear my wedding and engagement ring {25th anniversary gift 25years ago} my mothers diamond and ruby wedding ring on my rt. hand {3 years} Her diamond earrings, {also 3 years}, and 3 gold chain bracelets {5 Years} I have other pendents with matching earrings that I change often, depending on what I am wearing and where I am going..

I never thought I was a good jewelry person, but when I turned 40 and married 20 years my husband started giving me treasures and I was hooked.

  3. Soon after I was born I had a 22 carat gold expanding bracelet put on my wrist as a present from my aunt the godmother to be. It was on my left wrist right up till I was eleven and going to grammar school where jewellery wasnt allowed about a week before the terms started it snapped in two - It was so very weird I will never forget the feelings of  loss and freedom and excitement or the taste of it and the sensation of the  patterns on it against my tongue. I don't have the heart to give out to any other jewelry in the same way.

I haven't even felt attached to my wedding rings - the first I threw in the Thames when he walked out - now I wear a silver filigree band and if it gets lost or snaps I just buy another. I like the feel of a ring on my ring finger but am not bothered about quality only that it doesn't make my finger green.

My watch was only £10.00 but has lasted a treat- a bout seven years so far - I love it because it has an expanding strap so I can just swivel it up my arm for washing up.

  4. I have small gold hoop earrings that I wear every day. They go with everything. Sometimes I put on my diamond studs, but not often. I don't wear a watch or necklace. I also have a gold bracelet that I leave on.

  5. Yes, my engagement and wedding rings.  Also, a little pink CZ stone on a  gold chain necklace I bought for a few dollars at a county fair many years ago.  It's my favorite piece.

  6. I have worn a watch ever since I learned how to tell time. The only times that I ever take my watch off is when I am taking a shower, worked in a place that did not allow you to wear jewelry.  When I was married, I had my wedding rings (17 years) and they never came off until I got my divorce and then I got a Black Hills gold ring and it never comes off for any reason what so ever. When i first got my class ring, I never took it off until I worked at a place that would not let me wear it, it came off then, but I quit and then started wearing it again all the time. Then just last month my daughters dog bit me and they had to cut my class ring off my finger. I do plan on getting it replaced as soon as possible. I have 2 necklaces that I wear non stop, one has a heart with diamonds in it and the other has a black onyx and diamonds on it. Yes I wear them both at the same time. I also have diamond stud earrings that I have not taken out in over 30 years. I do take them out long enough to clean them and back in they go. I sleep in all of my jewelry. I feel naked without my jewelry on, that is how attached I am to my jewelry. Even when I was working and couldn't wear some of it while at work, as soon as I was off the clock my jewelry went back on right then.

Wedding rings, wore for 17 years, they are in a box here now since I got my divorce.

Black Hills Gold ring, have worn it for about 10 years.

Class Ring, have worn since 1975.

Watch, every time one quits I get a new one that day. They normaly last me 5-7 years.

Stud earrings, have worn them for 15 years.

Onyx necklace, have worn it about 7 years.

Heart necklace, have worn for 10 years.

  7. Yes, I wear several items without ever taking them off.  I have a large diamond on a ring that my first husband gave me when he started feeling guilty.  I wear it as a reminder not to ever let my guard down again.  My present husband had to one-up that diamond with an even larger one as an engagement ring.   (Don't you love it?)  Then of course we added my wedding band.  Two other items that are never removed are a diamond solitaire pendant that was my mother's, and a platinum cross with a fleur de lis in the middle that I got right after Katrina.  (fleur de lis is symbol of New Orleans).

Gotta go pack...Gustav is coming right at us!  Please say a prayer for all of us.

  8. I wore a cameo on a chain for more years then I can remember.  It as a present from my friends brother when he was discharged from the Merchant Navy.  A couple of years ago I put the chain and cameo in my jewellery box as I was going away for the weekend. When I left for the weekend I forgot to pack the jewellery box and that night my house was broken into and the robber made off with my jewellery.

I tried for ages to get a replacement as I wanted to get one exactly the same as the one that was stolen and the other month I actually found one.  Its as nice as the original but the sentiment and memories that went with the other chain and cameo are in my head only now.

  9. Yes, besides a simple gold wedding band, I wear the diamond from my engagement ring on a chain around my neck.  I take it off only to clean it.  After my husband's death, I had my engagement ring set with my daughter's birthstone and gave this to her as a birthday gift.

  10. Mine is a cross too.  about 30 plus years

  11. Yes my engagement and wedding rings.  My birthstone ring and a watch.

  12. No, not like my parents did. I switch, everyone now and then, for variety.
