  1. Oh, yes!  Little girl about 5 recently marched toward me holding a jar, while my neighbor, her grandmother, watched smiling.  Becky held up the jar with sparkles in her ice-blue, silken-lashed eyes and said, "Look!"  She'd caught a caterpillar.

  2. When my second oldest Grandchild was about 4, I would call her. She would tell me to hold on a minute. She would go into her bedroom out of earshot of her parents and share the most wonderful imaginative stories. She would tell me that she had, fore instance, a pony in her room. She would describe it, in  complete detail, so that I could imagine what it looked like. She would tell me about the games the two of them played, and what she had fed him, and go on and on. I loved every second she talked. Her parents worried that she wasn't telling the truth. I told them to leave her alone. There are too many kids today that have no imagination. She is now 9 years old. Her imagination didn't hurt her a bit. And, I have the wonderful, fun memories.

  3. Innocence is a valuable state of mind.

  4. I'm not quite a senior citizen but i can see the innocence of not knowing how the world works, and enjoying the moment.

  5. My grandson will be 2 yrs. old in October. When he is with me my so called "troubles" become non-existant. And the awe I feel seems impossible.

  6. So Very True Dizz!

I remember being touched one Sunday in Mass a child was crying and a small child in front handed him her bottle and he started  eating from her bottle.  It was such a special thing to see and really touched me.  They are such Angels and so Innocent.  Bless the Children!

    As Always Great Question.

  7. I look through the eyes of my grand children and remember being a child. I remember the wonder the child has. They keep my childhood memories alive, and I pass it back to them. I want them to continue to feel wonderment as long as they can. I see myself through them.

  8. Yes i know what you mean. I was with my grandkids today. It makes me happy to be around there innocence & there laughter. You can forget the real world for a while thank you

  9. When my daughter was little, I was a stay-at-home Mom. One day, I was trying to hurry her along the street, so I could start dinner before her father got home. She stopped to look at a bug. I was ready to yell at her when it hit me. My moment of Zen. Enjoy the moment. It might never come again.
