Hi should i go to either plataria or perdika in greece?

Hi I want to go to paltaria or perdika in august. can you tell me which is the most quiet and tranquil. Whish is moe traditional and less touristy and can you give me any advice to find an apartment for 2 people. thankyou.

When will you be there? I'm glad you took my suggestion on your other question and thought about Perdika or Plataria.

Hopefully on Sunday we will go to Perdika and I will have a better idea of the place (I plan to stay next weekend if I like it!). Because of my kids we will stay at a big hotel with swimming pool near the sea (4km from the town) but I have been told the village has rooms available, The busy time will be around the 15th Aug - also weekends when locals (like us) decide to stay.

Tell us WHEN you will arrive!

Perdika is not actually a seaside village, but is close to it. Many beautiful coves close by too. There are many hotels close to sea if that is what you are looking for and all are not of the 18-30 type. In fact the whole region is not heavily infested with tourists. Because of the coves it is a favorable destination for sailing boats and their holiday-maker occupants.

My advice is, that once you are there, you can start from the first one I said on my previous answer and find the right one that will fit your needs and wants.

In fact there are a couple more just before Plataria on very beautiful spots overlooking the gulf.

You said you are coming on August , and that month is in the peak of the season, but don't let it deter you. You will be able to find accommodation if only you have the patience to search around a bit. Just because you will be arriving at the last moment, bargain the prices offered.
