  1. You don't need to move any cables, just go into your menu on the TV set, access channels or setup ICON, look for an AUTOPROGRAM icon, and select it, then choose CABLE instead of UHF/VHF or Antenna setting, Then AUTOPROGRAM it to remember your cable channels.


  2. VCRs have a small switch in the back that should have two channels, 3 and 4. If the switch is on channel 4 switch it to channel 3. While in the back check for what looks like a round hole with a small pin hole size gap in it. The outer core should have threads on it, that is where your coaxil cable for cable TV goes. There should be two of them, one says out to TV the other should read from cable or antenna. The cable from the source should go into the one marked from cable or antenna, the one to the TV should be hooked up to the remaining connection. Then in the front or on your remote, switch to channel 3 and leave it there. Your cable box is now your channel tuner.
