Question:

Hi there, can I remove the neighbor's sprinkler line on my property if he does not?

The current neighbor did not install the sprinkler line but the previous owner did. However the new neighbor knew the problem since 6/2007. I need to install my own sprinkler system and part of it has to be on where he has his on my property. Thanks.

  1. I think you are probably allowed because it is on your land but talk to your neighbour first and let him know what your doing and ask them if its okay with them

  2. Why not work around it? I certainly would not complain if my neighbor chose to pay for watering my lawn.^

  3. You could, but talk to him first for sure.  If he refuses then inform him you will and proceed!

  4. Yeah, if it's in your way just cut it back to the property line and install a coupler. Rebury his sprinkler and done-deal.
