Hi there, need a little help?

i have an m reg honda prelude 2.2 vtec, just done an engine swap and the battery light is staying on, it goes off if you unplug the wiring connector from the alternator tho, as far as i am aware all of the earths are in the right place, can anyone shed any light on this for me pppplllleeeaaassseee

ground the alt to block - extra ground ok to do - makes radio sound better to

Possibly a short in the alternator, have it tested.

have you traced to wires going to the alternator making sure none of them are damaged and that they arn't grounding themselves out
