  1. 5mg is a pretty small dose.  Your pills are probably tabbed though, so you could reduce to 2.5mg each day.  From there you should be able to stop taking valium.

    If you consume caffeine you may want to reduce that while you are trying to get off the valium, that usually helps.

    Also, you really should be under a doctors supervision while getting off valium.  I don't think you should need any medications to assist you getting off valium.


  2. Be careful with remeron. I took it shortly and had to stop because the side effects were so bad. It felt like I had taken huge doses of cold/allergy medecine and had that disconnected, drowsy, disoriented feeling.
