As far as I know, once you delete a group, you cannot bring it back, but you can ask more detailed questions to Yahoo itself:

Once a group has been deleted, there is no way to get it back.  Wish I could be of more help but that's just the way Y! Groups are set up.

yahoo has the ability to restore deleted groups, and some have asked and they did do this for them if it was recent. all you can do is ask
