Moving to Romford as have gotten in Queen's Hospital. Don't really want to live in Essex so am looking for places to commute from East (or any other suitable part!) of London. Thank you!

  1. I wish I could live in Finchley or Notting Hill. How are you going to live? With money or Without?

  2. To be honest, Romford has got a lot better than it used to be - really cleaned up it's act.

To commute from East London to Romford, you'd be using the A12 and this gets absolutely chocka, you can back street it but the world and it's child goes this way too.

I know you said you're not keen on Essex but Loughton, Ongar, Epping and yep, even Romford are nice areas and easy to commute from (although a partial commute on the A12).  Just avoid Dagenham and Barking unless you want to just go home and stay at home each evening (some parts are rough!!).

Stratford is getting better and of course, you can jump on the overground from there straight to Romford and be there (plus bus ride to Queens) in about 30mins.
