  1. I have a now 7yo about that age i had the same problem he is adhd the trick is to be persistent and very patient about every half hour weather he needs to go or not sit him on the toilet and tell him to push well it worked for my son he is still only day time toilet trained night a bit harder good luck

  2. tell him if you do it in the loo i will give you a Price.

e.g a snake, these yummy lollie snakes.

  3. i am concerned that your son has been diagnosed with adhd at such an early age !!! diagnosis should be made according to adaptive behaviour in more than one environment (eg.school and home) also keep in mind that it is important NOT to compare your twins.

  4. tell him that if he goes to the toilet he will get a reward

    eg. something he wants

and tell him if he does it in his pants he could die or something that will scare him

  5. well, you could always try a sticker chart. It worked for my son. We made the chart together and whenever he went, we stuck a sticker on. When he got to 20 stickers, we went to the toy store. Perhaps you should give it a go? Hope this helps you.

  6. paitence reward him with ice cream and such.ADHD just makes potty training a boy worse he will learn. When he does go to the bathroom in the potty clap and jump around go to the store and let him pick out a inexpensive little something. When he goes to the restroom in his pants take something away and say no your a big boy now.If he likes a certain character from a show or something for example:When he goes in his pants take the phone and say i am going to call the green power ranger and tell him you pooped in your Pants!and when he goes in the potty call the character and say he did it he went potty. He will feel proud that character knows he is doing well.If that dosnt work make a chart and every time goes to the potty put a star and evry time he dosnt take a star away and when the chart is full tell him you will take him to the store to pick anything(that you approve of)he wants.

  7. When i was training my child i used a gold star chart and for number twos in the loo i wold give a special sticker then when it reach a week they got a treat. You don't want to get in to the habit of giving treats every time as you may not always have them with you eg. Shopping, Grans, Car trips

    Good luck

  8. reward him. for example, if he does go  potty in the potty, give him something ( i suggest something more like a mint, scince he has ADHD. sugary candy wouldnt be the best idea lol. most kids love mints, anyway.)

also make him feel like he makes a great acomplishment when he does. just be happy for him and let him know he did a good job :)
