There's nothing wrong with you. For the first year your body goes through natural changes.

If you have just had your period for 6 months maybe it hasnt regulated itself yet. sometimes it takes a while for it be regular or consistent but you can go to the doctor just in case to be sure nothings seriously wrong. dont be ashamed to ask your mom about these things either.

Well, it could be a few things.  First, because you haven't had it for over a year, it may just be irregular.  If you're not sexually active, don't worry too much.  Also though, your stress level may have affected it.  A lot of times stress and hormones will affect your period.  I would just wait it out, but if you are really concerned, you don't have to GO to the doctor, just call and ask what could be going on.

thats normal when u first get it u could have it for 6 months stright and then not have it for 6 months. your body just has to get into a regular pattern.

IT is normal for it skip a little before it becomes regular. Don't worry it also may be a little late are you stressted worry about your period is not going to help.

its fine that you haven't gotten it. when you get it depends on genetics( when your mom got it). i didn't get mine until i was 15. no girl is the same. But if you dont get your period before your 16, then you need to go to a doctor, because it could be hormonal problems. You have nothing to worry about. the first year you get it, it's ok for it to be abnormal such as missing a few periods, this means that your body is adjusting to the change.
