  1. the actual process is fine, its just afterwards its awkward to talk and you cant really eat and the swelling

it only hurts for the first couple of days

    definitely worth it tho :)

  2. well, its a needle being stabbed through your tongue, so yeah...its gonna hurt. lol. its totally worth it though.

  3. What's a tounge?

  4. Actually I have had mine done for almost 5 years and I can remember the exact day and I did not think it hurt at all they do it really quick it does settle sore and gets swollen but it isnt so bad that you can't tolerate it.. I would do it over and over and over I love mine.

  5. oh yes they hurt like freak... and also my brother had lots of blood coming out of his

  6. I got my tongue done about 2 years ago. I got it froze. I though it was going to be sore as well. I felt the needle going though at first but it wasn't sore at all. Just gets annoying for the next few days as you can hardly eat. I got told to suck on ice cubes after I got it done. It really helps

  7. well if you want to avoid the pain get a fake one!

  8. Well actually it does lol of course it is they grabbing your tongue and putting a needle trough it hurts like crazy but when its over- then ur done but then ur tongue gets swollen and u cant eat solid foods so yeah that is wack but when the swelling is gone then ur good lol btw i dont have one hah my cuzin does she told me though

  9. Um I Havent Got It Done But I Expect It Would KILL

  10. YES. Your tongue will be humongous...and don't even think about eating solid food for at least a week. The good thing is it heals very quickly!

  11. I had mine done a couple of years ago. Personally I wouldn't really say that it hurt (and i'm not a macho man!) there was a moment were I felt strong pressure pushing against my tongue but then it was through and the experience over.

I was also lucky/weird? but my tongue didn't really swell up after the piercing. I was perfectly able to continue eating and drinking as normal from about 3 hours after having the piercing done.

I guess everybody has a different pain threshold and everybody reacts in different ways to piercings so my advice would be that it depends on how good you are with pain and how well you are willing to look after it. In my opinion it is definitely worth it though - good luck!

  12. I got my done last year. It depends if they numb your tongue. I got mine numbed so i could only feel pressure on it.

Im not sure how much it hurts if its not numbed but i dont think its very much.

It does hurt for about a week/week 1/2 after because your tongue swells and you cant eat very much.

Prepare for it to bleed a little afterwards.

Make sure to eat a lot before because your not going to be able to stuff your face after.

If you look after if properly and clean it well then it should heal soon without pain. You are meant to use mouthwash after every meal and morning and night to get all the bacteria out of your tongue and not to touch it with your fingers.

Make sure to talk to your piercer before you do it and ask all the questions you need to ask because your not gonna be able to talk after for a while without sounding like you have a majoorrr lisp! If after you get it done and your worried about anything then just go back to him/her and they will help you.

    Good Luck

  13. i got mine done a month or so ago...

it does hurt getting it done (not an intense pain, but still a pretty big sting) and your tongue does swell up and hurt at any slight movement, but i found my tongue eased and i could talk properly after a couple of days

  14. Yes, and then your tonge swells up for a few days. Dont do it if you intend to speak for the next few days.
