Hi..ummm is it okay to belie in zodiac signs in islam?

no..i strongly disagree with the silly stuff people say like tomorow your gona have a bad day an stuff but like im not a strong beliver in that personality thing either but its like on islamic channels on tv as well

heck no its not, all that horoscopes and astrology signs are big time haraam. you should stay away from it. you shouldn't even be looking or wasting your time on it.

Yes it's wrong and foolish.  Anytime time it seems that it correctly predicted a personality trait or future event it is purely coincidental.

I believe that the following Hadith (among others) makes it clear that believing how stars might determine your life changes is disbelief:

On completion of the prayer, he faced the people and said, "Do you know what your Lord has said (revealed)?" The people replied, "Allah and His Apostle know better." He said, "Allah has said, 'In this morning some of my slaves remained as true believers and some became non-believers; whoever said that the rain was due to the Blessings and the Mercy of Allah had belief in Me and he disbelieves in the stars, and whoever said that it rained because of a particular star had no belief in Me but believes in that star.'"

I think the focus is not on the raining but on the general idea.

However, things like going to fortune-tellers and soothsayers and so on are strictly prohibited.

It is considered shirk and reading a horoscope or seeking information on yours, others will mean 40 days of Allah not hearing your prayers

i think its totally normal to read them!

and its normal to be interested in them! theres nuthing rong about them!

what you can do is this...

change ur sign for a month!

if u`re a Taurus read the Cancer for the month!

and dont read the Taurus! try to figure and imagine how what they write is very true about urself! u`ll find that it works no matter wat sign its under!

ALOT of ppl fall for it! i did myself!

thats why its there! its not bad to fall for it! but for ur own sake!

and only if u r actaully willing! try doin that! and you`ll see!
