  1. Look at the manual. If there is none, look for an on switch, if there is none, press up or down a channel on the tv control pannel. If that doesnt work, i doubt the control will work either, but why not give that a try too! If all that doesnt work, try holding down buttons, if that doesnt work, maybe touch the samsung symbol... and if all that fails, punch it square in the face.

Oh its a pc monitor haha... Yeah still do all that... Press everything you can find... It will eventually work.

  2. tons of scenarios...

    1st...no power on your outlet

2nd...the wires are not plugged in correct place...its okay to double check or triple check or quadruple check...

    3rd...it might be broken...

    4th...the wires arent working

5th...they ripped you off and sold you a ****** up monitor...lol

    there are more..

but you should return it and tell them to get you a new one...

there is no need to get a technician to connect everything for you..thats a waste of money so just get your money back or get a new one.....

    I hoped this helped...

  3. It will automatically turn on by itself when you start your PC (it will detect the DVI/VGA input signals), please try again.

You might have faulty Power Cable (common problem), buy a new one from any hardware store or try connecting any spare power cable that you might have.

  4. .

The Samsung 2243BW is controlled by six buttons along the bottom-right edge of the monitor's bezel. At first glance, it appears that these are merely labels and the buttons must be hidden, possibly under the bezel, facing downward towards the desk. However, this isn't the case; the 2243 features touch sensitive button technology.

The power button will be one of those. i'm pretty sure the power on button is the one first from the right of the screen.

In other words just push the things that look like labels down the bottom right hand side of the screen.

  5. have you read the manual??

have you tried switching the cables just to make sure, try using a different power hole thingy, trail and error, try finging the problem.

hate to say it but its usually the operator that corses the problems

  6. is there a power switch on the keyboard, or did it come with a remote of somekind?
