Well Ive never been to any of the Korean places but I can tell you the ones I know. You can try Inseoul Korean Restaurant or Kyung  Bok Gong.

For Japanese You can try Akasaka and Dahlia.

I dont know any place for French food but someone told me that the new Palimar has Frech food in it.

Why don't you try searching on chennai.burrp.com - they allow you to search for dining and hang-out places in specific localities in the city of Chennai. My search for korean food showed Seoul korean restaurant and Kyung Bok Gong!
