Hi whats an abcess? I have this soft squishy thing above one of my tooth

I have poped it a few times and this liquid comes out it throbs. And is it painful

its killing to have abcess in the gum, just take antibiotic to dry it.

Sounds like it - your dentists can prescribe antibiotics for this.

Yes, you definitely have an abscess...and yes, they can be very painful! The antibiotics should soon kick in though!

Yup that sounds like an abscess that is draining through your jaw and out your gums.  The tooth below this abscess has a dead nerve in it.  This tooth either needs a root canal or to be extracted to get the abscess to stop.
