Hi when i turn on

Question

hi when i turn on my psp theres nothing just a blank screen the green power light comes on for a bit then turns itself off. not sure if this has anything to do with it but when i got a new game it come up installing updates or something like that but before it could finish installing the battery went flat and hasent worked since please if you could help that would be great.
