I am sitting here on my sailboat looking about at all the things I have to maintain. There are so many systems and components to a yacht. Electrical (AC & DC) , electronics (radio, radar, sounders, GPS...),  plumbing (fresh and waste), sails, engine, topsides, bottom paint, metal care, wood care, fiberglass, moisture & mildew control.....  the list seems endless.  I have not found any one source for information.

I keep Calder's Boat Owners Mechanical and Electrical Manual and Vigor's Boatowners Handbook and Chapman's and The 12 Volt Doctor's Practical Handbook as well as every service and users manual that pertains to the specific unit that I have on board. Internet searches and people in my marina are always good sources of information or references to goods and services.
