  1. Yes it will fit and work fine.

    I checked on Dells website and the 1525 takes SATA drives.

    Good choice in drive btw.

  3. all depends if yours is a sata drive or an ide one....look inside,satas have small plugs,ide uses a nong ribbon....a dell hardrive is simply a normall harddrive...
