hi will this intake really produce the 18.29 horsepower for my 1995 Z28 K&N 57 Fipk Generation Ii Cold air Intake do what i just asked about the horsepower

  1. I think promising that amount of HP is a little too high. You would probably get about 7-11 HP max. Also, when you buy a high flow filter like that, you are substituting more air flow with worse filtering. High flow filters like K&N's let a lot more debris in than normal filters. Good luck.

Ask yourself this IF that really produces any more HP why does GM not put thatin the car from the factory..  Fact is it makes a cool sound and that sound will give you the feeling your faster.  I have bolted on junk like that on cars for years and very rarely does any of that stuff actually do anything.  In a lot of the cases it makes them work backwards..  

  4. Well first off, just throwing a new intake into your car is not gonna change much, it will give you some more power but it won't really be noticeable, if at all. By all means go for it, a cold air intake can't hurt.

    If you want more power your gonna have to change more than just the intake and it's gonna take some money.
