Hi8 tapes - Is 60min better, and where can I buy it?

Question

Is 60min better than 120min in terms of video quality? I don't need to arcive them because I'll be transferring to DVD.

I can't find 60min tapes online. Do you know a place?

Not really:  some older 60 minute stock is suppose to be Thicker.  good stock depends on how much "metal" is put onto the tape.   I don't buy tape stock online because I want to see the stuff,  hope it was taken care of, not heated up and such.  You could look for DA88 stock, and this is the SAME THING as HI 8 stock, but is used in DA88 and DA98 digital audio 8tracks.  Good luck
