Does anyone know if you can go on disability with hiatal hernia?

I work at a daycare and am constantly lifting children. I'm worried that this can cause more damage?

  1. I doubt that very seriously! I've got a hiatal hernia and their not that bad. You have to have a something very serious in order for your state to give you disability. Why I know? My mother in law just received it not long ago and she's a severe asthmatic and requires oxygen. It takes a act of congress to apply for it and then wait to see if you're accepted.
